Churches Chiesa di Sant’Antonio Abate

Immagine di Chiesa di Sant’Antonio Abate

This church has been transformed and enlarged, today it appears in a Neoclassical form with a dome rising culminating in a circular lantern; the bell tower is pointed.

The main altar is devoted to the Immaculate Conception; the altars on the left are devoted to St. Lucia and St. Maria SS.del Rosario, on the right there is St. Antonio da Padova altar and the small chapel of Divina Passione. The XVIIth century Cloister of Minorities belonging to the St Antonio Church is of great artistic and architectural interest, in the painted lunettes we can admire scenes illustrating St. Francesco's life.
