The Museum of Rural Life - founded in 1968 by Professor Dino Bianco and reopened to the public recently with a new staging- is located inside the wonderful rooms of the castle Caracciolo.Discovers and recovers civic, moral, cultural and scientific aspects of rural culture through the exhibited material suggesting and reminding the values and fascinating of the rural worl, basis of local culture. It also pays great attention to the ddactic aspect a strongly vocation desired by its founder. Along the way within the museum people take a walk through time looking for common roots related to rural life living again the moments of life of men who put their wits in dealing with difficulties of every day life. A strong religious feeling marked these men’s life as well showed in one of the museum’s room.
